HOME PURCHASE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (HPAP) Enables lower-and moderate-income individuals and families to purchase affordable housing in Washington, D.C. Qualified HPAP applicants can receive up to $40,000 in financial assistance to purchase single-family houses, condominiums and cooperative apartments. Employer-Assisted Housing Program (EAHP)
The Employer Assisted Housing Program (EAHP) provides District of Columbia Government employees with an increased opportunity to become first-time homeowners in Washington, D.C.
$8,000 First Time Home buyer Credit and DC $5,000 First Time Home buyer credit
The bill provides for a $8,000 tax credit that would be available to first-time home buyers for the purchase of a principal residence on or after January 1, 2009 and before December 1, 2009. The credit does not require repayment.
